How Ambervine came to be
Ambervine was founded in New Taipei City by a team with direct personal experience of what it feels like to manage a parent's care from a distance. The founders had each navigated the uncertainty of ageing parents who needed more than occasional check-ins — yet did not require full residential care. They found a gap: thoughtful, home-based support that respected the senior's independence while genuinely relieving the family's daily worry.
What began as a small network of trained companions in Banqiao District has grown into a structured care organisation serving families across New Taipei City. Through each stage, the founding principle has remained steady: every service must feel like something a good family member would do, not something a healthcare provider would process.
The name Ambervine was chosen deliberately. Amber for warmth and steadiness. Vine for the quiet, persistent kind of support that holds things together without being intrusive. Together they describe the spirit we carry into every home we enter.

Lin Cheng-Yu
Co-founder & Director
With a background in social welfare administration, Cheng-Yu oversees care standards and family communication protocols across all of Ambervine's services.
Wu Ming-Hua
Head of Care Operations
Ming-Hua coordinates scheduling, caregiver placements, and training. She spent eight years working in geriatric support services before joining the founding team.
Chen Hui-Fen
Medical Liaison Manager
Hui-Fen manages relationships with local clinics and hospitals, ensuring our medical accompaniment services are smooth, thorough, and well-coordinated for each client.

All caregivers undergo background verification, reference checks, and a structured interview process before joining our team. Character is assessed alongside qualifications.
Ongoing Training
Our team participates in regular professional development covering elder care communication, first-aid refreshers, and protocols for different cognitive and physical conditions.
Client Privacy Protection
All personal and medical information shared with us is handled with strict confidentiality. We comply with Taiwan's Personal Data Protection Act in our record-keeping and communications.
Structured Visit Reporting
After every visit, our caregivers complete a concise report covering the senior's mood, activity, and any observations of note. Families receive a summary in plain language.
Family Review Meetings
For ongoing service clients, we hold scheduled review conversations with family members to discuss the care plan, address any concerns, and agree on any adjustments needed.
Healthcare Network Relationships
Our medical liaison team maintains working relationships with clinics and hospitals throughout New Taipei City, helping clients navigate appointments with familiarity and confidence.
